How to reset service light indicator Renault Megane 3.

- Switch ON the ignition, don’t start the car.
- Press and release the top button on the end of the wiper stalk until the Service required message appears on the display. Picture below.
.- When Service required warning light is displayed press and hold the bottom button located at the end of wiper stalk. Picture below. EDIT thank to “unimportant” user: If that doesn’t work, try this too. OR. “When Service required warning light is displayed press and hold both the upper and bottom buttons located at the end of wiper stalk. Picture below.”
.- After a few seconds the the display will change in “Service in” an example Service in 6300 mi/12 mo. Picture below.
.- Now the service required is reset, switch OFF the ignition and then start the car, too see if the service required light has been reset.
If you have not succeeded to reset the warning light when you get to step 4 try to hold both buttons, thank to our user “unimportant”.

Resetting the oil-light in my Megane 3, required both buttons to initiate the reset.
So point 4 should be:
When Service required warning light is displayed press and hold both the upper and bottom buttons located at the end of wiper stalk. Picture below.

is that for oil change or for big servise on ky megane 3 big servise has been finished 20000km after it says SERVICE REQUERD is it for oil change
Service requeird is for big service, for the oil you must have oil service or oil inspection.

However this method didn’t work in my 2014 Megane, neither pressing the both buttons.
I wonder if there is another problem rather than oil change, so that the warning light could not been reset.

As the renset service light for a Megane lll 2014 is not shows in the instruction Can someone in clear steps inform hos the service light is redet om 2014 model.
