How to reset service light indicator Peugeot 406.

  1. Insert the key in the ignition.
  2. Turn the ignition OFF.
  3. Press and hold the trip meter button with this sign on it “OOO” looks like three zero. Picture below.
  4. Reset service light indicator Peugeot 406.
  5. Turn the ignition ON, do not start the engine.
  6. The tripmeter “OOO” button still pressed down.
  7. On the display will appear a countdown from 10 to 0, all this time holding down the tripmeter “OOO” button.
  8. After 10 seconds the display will read “O″ and the service symbol will disappear.
  9. Switch OFF the ignition and then ON to check if it was reset.

    i haf a snow and sport light indicators flashing sametime causing my 406 1997 peugeot to jark while driving and i just changed d tramiision oil to dextron3

    I own a Peugeot 406 saloon with engine type ew10, I noticed the check engine light remains permanently ON, the car jecks and is not smart. I had repalced the ignition coil,petrol nozzles and the issues persist. Can any one help, I love and want to keep the car.

      You must change the plugs and the spark plug wire, the problem may be and the lambda probe, catalyst, bad noxious etc. It is hard to say.
