How to reset oil service light Mini Convertible. From years: 2004, 2005, 2006.

1. Press and hold the trip button.
2. Insert key and turn to position 1.
3. Watch for RESET to appear.
4. Release the button, then press and hold it again.
5. Wait for the RESET to flash.
6. Release the button, and then press and release (once only).
7. Service interval should then be reset to next interval If that didnt work.

If the above procedure does not work try this:

1. Push the Trip Button. Picture below.

3. Turn ignition key to position 1 and 51A or SIA will appear to left of mileage. Picture below.
4. .
5. Release trip button.
6. Wait 3 seconds.
7. Push trip button.
8. Wait (5, 8 seconds) for RST to appear in left corner.
9. Release trip button.
10. Push trip button.
11. 15000 will appear as new service interval.
12. 1Release trip button.

Or try this:

1. Press and hold the trip odometer button.
2. Insert car key and turn it to the fi rst position (not the second position).
3. You will see 51A come up in the trip odometer area.
4. Release, then press and hold again.
5. Watch for the word RST to appear on the Odometer indicator.
6. Release, then press and hold again.
7. Wait for the RST message to fl ash.
8. Release, and then press and release (once only).

How can you reset oil service light Mini Convertible. From years: 2007, 2008.

1. Turn ignition to Terminal 15 which is one turn of the key or one press of the START/STOP button.
2. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button for approximately 10 seconds until the first service job appears in the display.
3. The upper display in the Instrument Cluster will be illuminated with a Service Item (example: An oil can is the designation for Oil Service). The lower display in the Instrument Cluster will indicate the remaining time or mileage left for that Service Item (example: 14000). Press the on-board computer button repeatedly (located on the direction indicator/main-beam switch) to scroll through all of the Condition Based Service Items.
4. Press and hold the on-board computer button on the direction indicator/main-beam switch until “RESET” appears in the lower display.
5. Pressing the on-board computer button again resets the service shown in the upper display. Repeat the procedure for each additional service which is to be reset.
6. Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1. Insert Key.
2. Do not press clutch and or brake.
3. Press Start button.
4. Wait until the relevant Service symbol disappears on the Rev counter display
5. Immediately after the symbol goes out. Press and hold Both buttons on the Rev Counter. Picture below.

7. Continue to hold. The system will run a dash light check.
8. Continue to hold. Display will then show VIN / Menu.
9. Continue to hold through this until the time reappears on the display.
10. Release ONLY the Right Button (Trip Reset) for about a second, and then press and hold again (whilst still holding the LH button).
11. The display will show the Front Brake Symbol. You are now in the Service Menu.
12.  Using the BC Button on the indicator stalk to scroll through to the relevant symbol – i.e. Rear Brakes. Picture below.

14. To Reset the warning indicator light. Press & Hold the BC Button at the relevant symbol until RESET appears, then press and hold again until the process is complete.
15. Turn Off and On the Ignition again. Warning should now have gone.
