How do you reset service light indicator Audi TT.
- For Fixed Interval servicing, you can use the following procedure.
- Start with the key in, but the ignition turned OFF.
- Press and hold the button on the right of the display, while turning the ignition one click (to position 1).
- Release the button on the right SERVICE should now appear on the display.
- Press and hold the button on the left of the display until it shows SERVICE IN xxxx Miles / Kilometres.
- Release the left button, then turn off the ignition.

Hi, this procedure reset the kms but the spanner and “service due” still comes up. Another thing I notice is it takes 17 sec for “service due” to light up.
Any thoughts would be welcome, car is an Audi TT 2009.

Hmm, it didn’t work and yes, My dash board looks like above. I came up with the message MPH in a circle with a line thru it with a number 2 beside the circle.
This procedure it was tested by us and works perfectly. I think your car is a Audi TT second edition MK2 typ 8J.

What about 2000 Audi S4?
If I’m not mistaken procedure is the same as Audi A4 B5.

On your model you can not reset this warning light by yourself, you will need a special scanner tool to turn off this indicaot.

I have an Audi tt 2007 8j, the service due indicator is on and the check engine light is also on, he changed the oil and filter so the car has been serviced but the service due hasnt been reset, will this cause the engine light to come on and stay solid because it thinks the car needs a service even though it doesnt?
Hi Gloria! The check engine light is most probably caused by another problem on your car, not because the service light is on.
I have an 53 plate TT 3.2 and it worked fine for me

Hello, how to reset service in …. mi/km ….. days on an Audi Tt second-generation 8J3 made between 2006 and 2015.
Turn the key to switch the ignition on.
Press and release the right button from your dashboard. The message SERVICE will appear on the monitor.
Within 5 seconds:
Press and hold the right button from your dashboard until the words SERVICE IN …. MI/KM….DAYS will appear.
Release the right button.
Switch ignition off.
Does not work on 2013 TT, all that did was zero the trip meter
