How to change the radiator grille on Ford Ranger 1993-1997

Do it yourself, change the radiator grille on your Ford Ranger, made between the years 1993 and 1997. This particular replacement should be a simple one. You will require a Phillips screwdriver to remove the grille and a 10 mm socket wrench if you need to replace the emblem on it. The whole process, if everything goes nice and well, will take you less than 15 minutes.

You can start this replacement after you open and secure the hood of your car. Go above the front grille and remove the six Phillips screws that hold it attached to the front bumper. They should look like the three shown in the picture below.

After you remove them, pull up on the edges of the grille and take it out. Now, the obvious step should be to reinstall the replacement, but in most of the cases, you will have to transfer the Ford emblem on the old grille, to the new one. This can be done by removing the two nuts that secure the emblem, using a 10 mm socket wrench.

At this moment, you will be able to install the new grille on your car. Just align it on the two guiding tabs at the bottom and secure it with the screws at the top. This is all you have to do, if you wish to remove and replace the front bumper on your Ford Ranger, the model produced between the years 1993 and 1997.
