How to change the spark plugs on Honda Accord V6 1995-1997

Do it yourself, change the spark plugs on your Honda Accord, the model equipped with the V6 engine, made between the years 1995 and 1997. This replacement will require six new spark plugs from your local auto parts store and a spark plug socket wrench (5/8 wrench) with an extension. The repair process is quite simple and it will probably take you about 30 minutes.

Before you start the replacement you should open the hood of your car and unplug the negative cable of the battery. In most of the cases, you ca do it using a 10 mm wrench. After that, you can remove the spark plug wires, in order to get access to the spark plugs. There are six on the engine, three to the front of the car and the other three to the interior (we marked two of the ones in front, in the picture below). We strongly recommend you to remove them and replace the spark plugs, one by one, because you must keep their order when you reinstall them.

After you detach a spark plug wire, you can insert the socket wrench and remove the spark plug, as you can see below.

Remove and replace all of them and you should be ready to go. These are the steps you need to follow, if you wish to change the spark plugs on your Honda Accord V6, produced between the years 1995 and 1997.
