How to change the signal light on Toyota Corolla 1994-1997

DIY, change the front signal light on your Toyota Corolla, made between the years 1994 and 1997. This is a replacement that you can do in less than 10 minutes, using only a Phillips screwdriver.

You should know from the beginning that this is a very simple repair. You will not require to lift your car with a jack or something else. The parking light assembly can be accessed and replaced from outside the front bumper. First of all, you will have to remove the Phillips screw that secures the assembly into the bumper, as you can see in the image below.

Don’t unscrew it completely, just enough to use it to pull out the assembly easier. After you release the parking light from the bumper, unplug the harness seen in the picture below, that powers the light bulb. Actually, the easiest way to do it is by twisting the light bulb’s socket counterclockwise.

This is the moment when you can install the replacement assembly. You just have to reconnect the electrical harness, install the new parking light into the front bumper and secure it with the screw. Be careful, don’t over tighten that screw because you might brake the plastics. These are the steps you need to follow, if you wish to remove and replace the parking light assembly on your Toyota Corolla, the model manufactured between 1994 and 1997.
