How to change right wing mirror on Nissan Altima 2000

In order to change the right wing mirror on a Nissan Altima 2000 you need a small flat screwdriver and a 10 mm socket wrench. The repair takes for about 20 minutes and to get it done, you have to follow the simple steps below.

     The first step is to carefully remove the plastic part on the door using the flat screwdriver. You might also want to use a rag and fold it upon the screwdriver, to protect the paint from scratches as you take off the plastic. You have to insert carefully the screwdriver between the plastic part and the metal on the door and push gently towards you until the three small pins on the plastic part detach.

     After you have removed the plastic part you will notice three small bolts that are holding the mirror in place and the electrical connection. You just have to remove the connector by pressing the small button/tab on it and unscrew the three nuts using the 10 mm socket wrench.

     Now you can take off the old, broken mirror and replace it with the new one. The installation is very easy because you just have to adjust the bolts to enter the holes on the door and tighten altima 2000 side mirror
