Do it yourself, change the rear door speaker on your Dodge Ram manufactured in the years 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. You will need a Phillips screwdriver, a 10 mm socket wrench and about 20 minutes to do this relatively simple repair.
First, you have to take off the front panel of your door. You can do it by removing two bolts, shown in the image below. One of them is a 10 mm bolt located behind the door handle and the other one is a Phillips screw, visible on the middle of the door panel.
After you do this task, just lift up the door panel and it will come off quite easily. It is now held only by the window switch harnesses, as in the next image.
Disconnect it by pressing the safety tab and you will get access to the speaker on the door. The speaker can be detached after you remove the three Phillips screws that hold it and its harness, located behind (see picture below).
At the end, it is all about installing the replacement. Do not forget to reconnect the speaker and tighten its screws. Be careful not to over tight them, as the plastic might brake. Connect the window switch harness to the door panel and then install back the panel. Secure it with the two bolts and you are done. This is all you need to do, in order to change the rear door speaker on a Dodge Ram 2002-2008.
