DIY, change the headlight position bulb on Fiat Grande Punto 2005-2013

Do it yourself, change the headlight position bulb on your Fiat Grande Punto, manufactured between the years 2005 and 2013. This replacement is very, very simple and doesn’t require tools or special mechanical knowledge. You can do it with your bare hands in a couple of minutes. You just need a new position light bulb and to follow the steps shown below.

You can also watch the video tutorial below for a detailed presentation.

So, in the beginning, you have to open the hood of your car and locate the rubber piece that covers the headlight bulbs sockets, as you can see in the picture below. You will have to remove this cover, in order to get access to the position light bulb. You can do it very simply by pulling it out.

After you do it, you can remove the light bulb you wish to replace (you can see the location of the position light bulb in the image below). Pull the white plastic socket out and then, press those two small plastic clips, in order to be able to remove the bulb.

When you are ready to install the new bulb, make sure you do not touch its glass surface with your fingers. The grease on your hands can reduce its lifetime. In the end, you just have to push back the white socket into the headlight housing and reinstall that rubber cover. These are the steps you need to follow, if you wish to change the headlight position bulb on your Fiat Grande Punto, manufactured between the years 2005 and 2013.
