DIY, change the headlight assembly on Buick Century manufactured in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. For this repair you will not need any tools. The repair can be done using only your hands in about 10 minutes. If you find it easier, you can use a flat blade screwdriver when you unplug the harness of the assembly.
First of all, open the hood of your car using the handle on the left side of the steering-wheel. Go to the headlight and remove the two plastic holding tabs shown in the picture below.
You can do it by pulling them upwards. At this point you can pull the whole assembly out. The last step you need to do is to unplug the harness shown in the next image. This can be done using your fingers or using a flat blade screwdriver.
Now you can easily access the light bulbs and service them if needed. Connect the harness back and install the replacement headlight. Pay attention that the plastic brackets on the assembly come all the way in, so that the holding tabs can secure them. These are the steps you need to follow if you wish to change the headlight assembly on Buick Century manufactured between the years 1997 and 2005.
