How to change the front grille on Toyota Tacoma 2001-2004

Do it yourself, change the front grille on your Toyota Tacoma. You can follow the tutorial below if you have the model made between the years 2001 and 2004. This replacement will require a Phillips screwdriver and a flat blade screwdriver.

In the beginning, open and secure the hood of the car. You can start by removing the two screws that hold the parking lights on the car, like the one seen in the image below. There is one on each side of the grille. After you do it, you will have to pull out the parking lights and remove them from the car, by twisting the sockets of their bulbs, counterclockwise.

Now you can go at the bottom of the grille, under the headlight and pull firmly on the grille, as you can see in the small picture below. The grille is secured on the car by some clips. There are three of them at the top, that can be pressed inside with a flat headed screwdriver and three of them at the bottom. For these ones, you will probably need a longer screwdriver.

By doing all this, you will be able to release the grille. The replacement process is also simple. You just have to align the new grille into its place and just push on it firmly until it is secured into its clips. After you reinstall the parking lights, you are all set. This is all you need to do, if you plan to remove and replace the front grille on your Toyota Corolla, produced between the years 2001 and 2004.
