Do it yourself, change the front grille on your Nissan Murano, produced in the years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. You will need a flat blade screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver to make this replacement. The whole process might take you about half an hour.
The first step of the replacement happens above the grille. So, open and secure the hood of the car and start to remove the plastic pins that secure the top side of the grille. There are 15 pins of two types. All of them can be removed by prying out their middle and then by pulling them out. Some of them are flat and the others are screw like, as you can see in the image below. Remove them one by one, over the entire length of the grille.
After you remove all the clips from the top of the grille, look at the inside, at the bottom, for tabs like the one in the picture below. Reach inside and put your fingers underneath each tab and push them up while you pull on the grille from the outside. Repeat the process for each tab, until the grille comes out. Now, in most of the cases, you will also have to remove the emblem on the middle. You can do it very simply by using a Phillips screwdriver to remove two screws behind it.
At this point you can replace the grille with a new one. Install it on the car, guiding it with the tabs below, secure it with the clips above and that should be it. This is all you need to do, in order to replace the front grille on your Nissan Murano, manufactured between 2003 and 2007.
