DIY, change a fog light assembly on your Dodge Intrepid. The replacement procedures shown next should be similar on models of this car produced between the years 1993 and 1997. You will only require a Phillips screwdriver and about 5 minutes of your time.
This repair is very, very simple. You just have to go to the fog light that needs to be replaced and remove the two screws shown in the image below. You can do it easily, with a Phillips screwdriver.
After you do it, shake the assembly back and forth and you should be able to pull it out from the front bumper. If you find it difficult, you can use a sharp tool on one of its edges, like the tip of a flat headed screwdriver or a knife. Once the fog light comes out, you will have to disconnect its harness from the plug shown in the picture below. If you plan to service the light bulb, you can snap off the back of the fog light (it is held by two clips) and remove the old bulb.
After you finish all the repairs, you can connect back the new assembly to the electrical harness, insert it into the front bumper and secure it with the two screws. This is what you have to do, if you wish to remove and replace the fog lights on your Dodge Intrepid, the model made between the years 1993 and 1997.
