Do it yourself, change the front bumper mounted signal light on your Toyota Tacoma, produced between the years 2001 and 2004. It’s a pretty easy replacement for which you will require a flat blade screwdriver and a couple of minutes.
The repair process starts in front of the car, obviously. Using the tip of a flat headed screwdriver, you will have to, basically, pry out the signal light assembly (see picture below).
By doing that, you will release the assembly from the bumper. In order to remove it completely, you will have to disconnect the harness powering the light bulb, the one seen in the image below. The easiest way to do it is by twisting the socket of the bulb counterclockwise. Now is the perfect time to service the light bulb, if needed. If not, you can just move to install the replacement.
You will just have to connect the bulb and its harness to the new assembly, by twisting the socket clockwise, this time. After you do it, insert the assembly into the bumper as the old one and you’re all set. This is all you have to do if you plan to remove and replace the front bumper parking light on your Toyota Tacoma, the model made between the years 2001 and 2004.
