Do it yourself, change the blower motor on your Honda Accord, the model manufactured between the years 1992 and 2006. For this repair, you will require an 8 mm socket wrench or a flat blade screwdriver and a replacement part from your hardware store. The process is simple and can be done in less than 15 minutes.
You can start the repair by opening the passenger’s front door. Then get below the glove box and disconnect the electrical harness shown in the image below.
After you do it, you just have to remove the three screws marked with red arrows in the picture below. You can do it using an 8 mm socket wrench. They also have provisions for flat blade screwdriver and T25 torx driver.
After you undo these fasteners, you can pull out the old blower motor and install a new one. The new one should fit in exactly like the original. Install it and secure it with those three screws and in the end, connect back the electrical harness. This is all you need to know and do, in order to remove and replace by yourself the blower motor on Honda Accord, the model produced between the years 1992 and 2006.
