  2. Turn the key to the accessory position for keyed vehicles and for push button start vehicles press the Start/Stop button once quickly. DO NOT attempt to start the engine.
  3. Press the accelerator and brake pedals fully for 20 seconds.
  4. ENGINE OIL CHANGE DUE NEXT SERVICE and Engine Oil, Oil life monitoring system reset, Ford Fiesta will display.
  5. Turn the vehicle off. The message and lights will be cleared.

    This did work! I got an oil change done at a fast lube place here in Ohio, and they couldn’t get the light to go out. (2011 Ford Fiesta) I went for about three weeks with it on until I found this post about how to ge the light to turn off, and now it’s off! Thanks to folks that posted it-

    this method worked on my 2009 fiesta after service. It also turned off the yellow low oil level light which was on even though the oil level was correct.
