DIY, change the master window switch on your Nissan Murano, the model from the years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. For this replacement you will require a Phillips screwdriver or a 10 mm socket wrench. This is a simple replacement that will probably take you less than 15 minutes.
In the beginning, after you open the front door, on the driver’s side, you will have to pry out a small door-like cover, located at the bottom of the door pull, as you can see in the picture below. You can do it quite simply, using the tip of a flat blade screwdriver. By doing that, you will uncover a screw that has provisions for Phillips and flat blade screwdrivers or 10 mm socket wrenches.
After you remove that screw, you will be able to simply pull up the window switch and detach it from the door panel. In the end, you will have to unplug the two connectors powering the switch, as you can see in the next image.
Now, you can replace the old window switch with a new one. In most of the cases, you will have to separate the bezel above, from the actual modules. Do it if needed and install the new switch into the door panel, as the old one was. This is all you have to do, if you need to remove and replace the master window switch on your Nissan Murano, the car model manufactured between the years 2003 and 2007.
