DIY, remove the rear door panel on your Oldsmobile Intrigue, the model made between the years 1998 and 2002. This particular repair procedure will require a Phillips screwdriver, a flat blade screwdriver, a T30 torx driver and a putty knife. Removing and reinstalling the door panel might take you about an hour.
You can begin by prying out the plastic where the small window switch is located (see image below). You can use your hand or the tip of a flat headed screwdriver to do it. After you pull it up, unplug the harness beneath it. Then, move your attention behind the door handle, where you need to remove a small plastic cover.
After you finish removing those plastics, you will uncover three screws that secure the door panel and must be also removed. There is a Phillips screw behind the door handle, a T30 torx screw behind the window switch and another one beneath the arm rest (all shown in the picture below).
Remove those retainers and then, using a putty knife or door clip removal tool, pry out the door panel from its extremities until it is out of its clips. Pull it out then, make the required repairs and install it back reversing the whole procedure. This is all you need to do, if you plan to remove and reinstall the rear door panel on your Oldsmobile Intrigue, the model manufactured between the years 1998 and 2002.
