Do it yourself, remove the front door panel on your Chevrolet Trailblazer, the model manufactured between the years 2002 and 2009. You will need a flat blade screwdriver and a 10 mm socket wrench, with a ratchet and an extension. Removing and reinstalling the door panel on the driver’s side of this car might take you more than half an hour.
In the beginning, open the door on the driver’s side and, using a flat blade screwdriver, pry out the master window switch. The best way to do it is on the extremities, as shown in the image below.
After you lift up the switch, you have to unplug the electrical harnesses beneath it, in order to remove it completely. Use your fingers or aid yourself with the flat blade screwdriver. Then, move your attention to the small door handle, where you need to remove the bezel around it. You can do it using the same screwdriver, by inserting it in some slots all around the bezel (see picture below) and by pulling it out.
Now you have to remove two 10 mm bolts behind the big door handle, shown in the next image. You can do it very simply with a 10 mm socket wrench, with a ratchet and an extension.
With those bolts removed, you can start to pry out the door panel. Insert your fingers underneath the triangle on the corner, behind the mirror and work your way around the edges, until the panel is out. Make the repairs needed and install the panel back, reversing the steps above. This is all you need to do, if you plan to remove the front door panel on your Chevy Trailblazer, made between the years 2002 and 2009.
