Do it yourself, change the left side mirror on your Honda Accord, the model manufactured between the years 1994 and 1997. The procedure is also similar for the passenger’s side and the only tool needed is an 8 mm socket wrench, with a ratchet and an extension. The replacement won’t take you more than 15 minutes.
In the beginning, open the front door, on the driver’s side and remove the triangle shaped plastic cover shown in the image below. You can pull it out with your fingers, because it is held only by a clip. If you find it difficult, you can use a flat headed screwdriver and pry it out slowly.
This cover will reveal three 8 mm nuts and the electrical connector that powers up the mirror, as seen in the picture below. You should remove those nuts using an appropriate socket wrench and unplug that connector with your thumb, then the mirror will come off.
At this point you can replace the old mirror with a new one. In order to install it, you just have to reverse the whole process. Insert it in its place on the door frame, secure it with those three nuts and plug back the electrical connector. In the end, just install back the triangle cover and that should be it. This is all you have to do, if you wish to change the side mirror on your Honda Accord, manufactured between 1994 and 1997.
