Do it yourself, change the master window switch on your Dodge Intrepid, the model produced between the years 1993 and 1997. You will require a flat blade screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver to make this replacement. The whole process is very simple and it will take you less than 10 minutes.
First of all, you will have to remove the old and probably broken window switch from the door panel of your car. After you open the door on the driver’s side, use the tip of a flat headed screwdriver and pry out the plastic bezel, trim, above the module, as you can see below. It should come out without much effort.
After you remove that plastic cover, you can work on the three screws that actually hold the window switch (we marked their position in the next picture). You can undo them using a Phillips screwdriver.
At this point, you will be able to lift the module and disconnect the electrical harness beneath it (see image below). That can be done by hand and it will allow you to detach the module completely.
Now it is the moment to install the replacement. Connect the harness to the new switch, insert it in its place into the door panel, secure it with the screws and install the cover above it. These are the simple steps you need to follow, if you plan to change the master window switch on your Dodge Intrepid, the model made between 1993 and 1997.
