Do it yourself, change the glass of the wing mirror on your Land Rover Range Rover Sport, the model made between 2004 and 2009. The replacement of this part is very, very simple and can be done in less than 5 minutes in the back of your garage. There are no tools required to do it.
You can start this repair by removing the old glass from the mirror support. This can be done by hand, by simply inserting your fingers behind it and prying it out. Be careful if the mirror is broken, wear hand gloves or use a screwdriver to remove the glass, in order to avoid accidents. After you detach it, unplug the two electrical wires behind it, similar to those seen in the image below.
At this point, you can work to install the replacement. Make sure you connect the two wires to the new glass, align it correctly on the mirror, as you can see in the picture below and press on it gently until you make sure it’s secured there.
