Do it yourself, change the glass of the left side mirror on your Seat Leon, the model produced between the years 1999 and 2005. This replacement can be done in a couple of minutes with your bare hands, no tools required. You should wear hand gloves nevertheless, especially if the old glass is broken.
So, in the beginning, you will have to remove the old glass from the damaged mirror. You can pry it out by inserting your fingers behind it, as seen in the picture below.
By doing that, you will come across the two wires that are used for heating and defrosting, as you can see below. Unplug them by hand.
This is the moment in which you can install the new glass. So, connect back the two electrical wires, align the glass properly on the plastic frame on the mirror and push on it, until it is secured, as you can see in the image below.
