Do it yourself, change the glass of the side non-heated mirror on your Renault Grand Scenic II, the model made between the years 2004 and 2009. This is a very simple replacement, that you can make in less than 5 minutes. A flat blade screwdriver might be required and a pair of hand gloves.
First of all, you have to work on removing the old glass from the mirror’s plastic frame. If the glass is not broken, you can pry it out by inserting your fingers behind it, as you can see in the picture below. But if not, you should use a pair of hand gloves, for protection, or aid yourself with a screwdriver. Be careful, because applying too much force on the glass will brake it easily.
After you detach the glass, if your mirror is heated, you will have to unplug the two electrical wires attached to it back. If not, you can just install the replacement. This is a simple process as well. You just have to align the new glass just like shown in the image below and press on it, until it is secured.
This is basically all you need to do if you wish to remove and replace the glass of the side mirror on your Renault Grand Scenic II, produced between the years 2004 and 2009. You can watch the video tutorial below for a detailed presentation.
