Do it yourself, change the glass of a broken mirror on your Holden Barina XC MK4, the model produced between 2000 and 2005. You should know that this is a simple replacement, that can be done in a couple of minutes, using only your bare hands. In some cases, the replacement might require wearing gloves or using a flat headed screwdriver.
You can start this repair by removing the old glass from the mirror. If its broken into small pieces, remove it carefully using hand gloves and a screwdriver or another tool, to protect your hands. If its somehow intact, you can pry it out by inserting your fingers behind it, as you can see in the picture below.
After you detach it, you could come across two small wires, that are used for heating and defrosting. Unplug them and remove the old glass completely. If the mirror is not heated, you can just install the replacement glass. You have to align it like the one in the image below (make sure those small knobs will enter into their sockets) and press on it until it is secured on the plastic frame.
This is all you need to do, if you wish to remove and replace by yourself the glass of the side mirror, on Holden Barina XC MK4, made between the years 2000 and 2005. You can watch the next video tutorial for details on the repair.
