Do it yourself, change the front grille on your Chevrolet Trailblazer, the model produced in the years 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. This repair is very, very easy and can be done in less than 15 minutes, using only a big flat blade screwdriver.
In the beginning, you have to open and secure the hood of your car and then go above the front grille. You will have to pry out the grille, using the flat blade screwdriver, because it is held by some clips (we marked some of them in the picture below).
There are actually four of them on the top side, two on the bottom, one in the middle (behind the emblem) and two on each side, at the extremities. You can insert the screwdriver as you can see in the image below and pop them one by one, until the middle part of the grille is detached. Then, pull out the extremities carefully and remove the grille completely.
At this point, you can just install the new grille. Reinstalling is very easy. You have to align the grille on the body of the car and press on it, clip the top retainers first, because you can see and guide them easily. After that, clip the middle and the bottom and in the end the extremities, located on the headlights. These are the steps you need to follow, if you wish to remove and replace the front grille on your Chevy Trailblazer, made between the years 2002 and 2005.
