Do it yourself, change the front door panel on your Toyota Corolla made in the years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. You will need a flat blade screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver and about 30 minutes. A door panel clip tool could also be in handy, if you have one.
You can start the repair by prying out the triangle shaped trim panel on the upper side of the door, behind the mirror. You can insert the tip of a flat screwdriver behind it and pry it out. Use a rag to wrap the screwdriver, in order to protect the plastic parts of the car. After you do it, you can move to the door handle and the window switch module. Pry them out from the bottom and after you do it, disconnect the two wires that power up the switch.
Next, you can easily locate the Phillips screws that hold the door panel. Two of them are revealed after you detach the big door handle and the third is located behind a tiny door-like plastic cover near the small door handle (see picture below).
At this point you can start to pry out the door panel. It has a series of plastic clips all around its edges. Pull the panel firmly towards you, or better, use a putty knife or the flat headed screwdriver to loosen the clips first and then detach the panel. Make all the repairs needed and then install the panel back or replace it with a new one. This is all you need to know and do, if you need to remove and replace the front door panel on your Toyota Corolla, produced between the years 2003 and 2008.
