Do it yourself, change the blower motor on your Toyota Sequoia, the model made between 2001 and 2007. If your blower motor is making loud noises, or it’s broken, you might consider replacing it. The repair is very simple and it will require only a T25 torx driver and a new motor. You can do it in less than 15 minutes, if you follow the steps below.
In the beginning, you can open the front door, on the passenger’s side and get below the dashboard. There you will locate the blower motor, secured by three screws and powered by an electrical cable. Unplug the electrical connector first, as you can see in the picture below. You can do it very simply, by hand.
After you do it, use a T25 torx driver to unscrew the three retainers that hold the motor. We marked their approximate position with red arrows and circles, in the next image.
Now it is the moment to install the replacement. Insert the new blower motor in the place of the old one, secure it with the three screws and at the end, reconnect its electrical harness. This is all you have to do, if you need to remove and replace the blower motor on your Toyota Sequoia, the model produced between the years 2001 and 2007.
